Saint Teresa Jubilee Year Celebration: Parish Ministry Day will be held on Saturday 25th November, please reply to the parish office if you are able to attend morden@rcaos.org.uk.
I am delighted to share with you the excellent news that our parish is experiencing tremendous growth in recent months. It warms my heart to see new families joining our community, making our parish more diverse and multicultural than ever before.
We are blessed to have strong communities representing various cultures and backgrounds. Sons and daughters from the Philippines, India, Africa, Poland, Ukraine, Ireland, Europe, South America, and many more places have found their home in our parish. The richness of our diversity is truly a testament to the inclusive nature of our community. One of the most beautiful aspects of this growth is the increasing number of baptisms. Families are choosing to bring their children into the loving embrace of our parish, and it fills me with joy to witness the faith being passed down to the next generation. More good news: more than a dozen attend our RCIA PROGRAM seeking to become Catholics at Easter. Our Parish and Catholic schools play a vital role in supporting these families and offering a warm welcome to all. They provide a nurturing environment where children can grow academically and spiritually. In our pursuit of inclusivity, we strive to be a parish family where everyone feels welcome. We encourage active participation in our community, believing we can flourish through collaboration and unity. We also actively seek catechists to help us pass on the beautiful gift of faith to others. Together, we can support family and youth ministry, ensuring our younger members have a strong foundation in their spiritual lives. As many of you are aware we are forming a new Parish Leadership Team. This team will guide our community and ensure we continue growing in faith, unity, and love. We humbly ask for Heaven's blessings as we embark on this new journey, eagerly working towards building a community that reflects the values of our faith. As we move forward, remember the importance of prayer and devotion. Our spiritual life should always be at the forefront of our efforts—the beauty and dignity of the Holy Mass. We are enhanced then by the beautiful gifts and talents of our parish music ministry teams and our members' choirs. Through devotion, Adoration, the recitation of the Rosary, Ministry to the Sick, and Our First Fridays Retreats, we deepen our connection with God and find solace in His presence. Let us embrace this time of growth and change with open hearts and minds. Let us celebrate the diversity that enriches our parish and strive to create a community that radiates love, kindness, and acceptance to all who walk through our doors. May God's blessings be upon us as we build a community of faith and unity. Together, let us forge a path towards a brighter future rooted in the love of Christ. With warmest regards, And my blessing, Canon Michael Dear Parents,

You are the Mother of the Sick, the Comforter of the Afflicted. We ask for your intercession on behalf of all those who are sick and housebound. Please wrap them in your loving embrace and bring them healing and strength. Guide the hands of their caregivers and fill their homes with peace and serenity. Mother Mary, we entrust all our worries and anxieties to you. Help us to find solace and hope in your maternal care. Through your powerful intercession, may the sick and housebound experience the presence of your Son, Jesus Christ, who is the Divine Healer. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen. May Our Lady of Lourdes intercede for all those who are sick and housebound, bringing them comfort, healing, and peace. Amen. Dear Friends, Peace Be With You! 🙏
You are valued and much-loved members of Saint Teresa's Parish. Coping with sickness is undeniably challenging, and we understand the difficulties you may be facing. We want you to know that you are not alone in this journey. Our parish community is here to offer support and prayers for you during this time. In particular, we would like to draw your attention to our First Friday Healing Services. On the first Friday of every month, we gather together for a specific time of Adoration, Holy Mass, Sacrament of Confession, Anointing Of The Sick, spiritual reflections and prayerful devotions like the Rosary dedicated to healing and spiritual renewal. These First Fridays are like a mini retreat and provide an opportunity for prayer, reflection, and seeking solace and reassurance in the presence of God. It is a time when we come together as a community to lift up those who are sick and housebound, offering our collective prayers and spiritual support. We invite you to join us for these spiritual gatherings, where you can find comfort and renewed hope. Our parish is committed to providing not only prayerful support but also practical assistance to those in need. Please know that we are here for you, and our thoughts and prayers are with you and all those on our Parish Sick List. Every month we look forward to welcoming the sick and housebound from across the diocese. Our Next First Friday is on December 1st. A Buffet and refreshments follow our retreat. May God's healing grace embrace you and bring you strength and peace during this challenging time. May Saint Teresa pray for you and intercede on your behalf. In unity with the parish family, we send our love and blessings, Canon Michael |
