Dear Parish Family

28/9/2024

During our recent Leadership Team meeting, we received a comprehensive analysis report detailing our income and expenditure since 2019. A summary of this report will be posted on the Parish notice board and available on our website for your review.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to Alex and the Parish Finance Council Team for their outstanding presentation and diligent work in preparing this report.

The Need for Increased Income:
As we move forward, it is essential that we explore ways to raise our parish income to better support our programs and services. The diocese is running various programs aimed at assisting parishes with fundraising efforts. If you are interested in participating in any of these initiatives, please let us know.

Suggested Ideas for Fundraising:
To enhance our income, here are some ideas we encourage you to consider:
  • Do you Gift Aid? If you are a taxpayer, signing up for Gift Aid can make your donations go further at no extra cost to you.
  • Direct Debit Support: Can you support the parish by setting up a Direct Debit? This option allows for regular, predictable contributions.
  • Small Increases Matter: Can you offer an extra 50p or even an additional pound or two every week? Small increases can collectively make a significant difference.
  • Sponsor Church Heating: Would you consider sponsoring the heating for a day? This could be a meaningful way to contribute to our comfort during services.
  • Sponsor Church Lighting; For a day This would be a great help.
  • Sponsor our 60 new Chairs £25 each and 10 New Tables @£90 each In the Parish Hall.
  • How about the Diocese Fundraising Team Being invited for a 3 week appeal?
  • Share Your Suggestions: We would love to hear your ideas! If you have any suggestions for fundraising initiatives, please don’t hesitate to let us know.

Your continued financial and prayerful support is invaluable to the life of our parish. Together, we can ensure that St. Teresa’s Parish remains a vibrant community for all. Thank you once again for your generosity and commitment.

Warm regards,
Canon Michael
