New servers must have received their First Holy Communion and attend all five sessions starting at 11.00am on Saturday, 11th November; Saturday, 18th November; Saturday, 2nd December; Saturday, 9th December and Saturday, 16th December.
Envelopes and paper is provided for the names of your deceased relatives and friends whom you wish to be remembered at the Masses. Please place your envelopes in the grey box in the narthex.
Wednesday, 1st November is the feast of All Saints and a holy day of obligation. There are 2 Masses: 10am and 7pm. Thursday, 2nd November we celebrate All Souls Day. We have Mass as usual at 10am when we remember all the faithful departed. Unfortunately, there are still some people who do not know how or where to park their cars on Sunday mornings. Upsetting the neighbours – by parking in front of their driveways – just generates anger, complaints and opposition to the whole place. Could everyone please be considerate and responsible in where you leave your car when you come to church. It does matter.
Please remember if you or a member of your family is taken to hospital to ask the ward staff to inform the Roman Catholic Chaplain, Fr. Philip. If Fr. Philip knows you are in the hospital, he will ensure you receive a visit and Holy Communion if required. You can also inform the Parish Office if this is easier for you but please inform someone who can get the message to the Chaplain. |
