Please download the important information and invitation to a meeting for parents/guardians of First Holy Communion children 2025 or pick up a hard copy at the Contact Corner. The meeting will take place Saturday 11th January 2025 at 9.30am in the church and numbers will be capped at 70 children. On Sunday 17th November 2024 at the 11am Mass, we will celebrate the combined Rites of Acceptance and Welcoming with our Inquirers and candidates. The First Step in the Catechumenal process, in which the unbaptised are officially accepted into the Order of Catechumens. It is of the utmost importance that assembling publicly for the first time, the Candidates who have completed the period of the Pre-Catechumenate declare their intention to the Church and the Church in turn accepts them. The Rite of welcoming is focused on those Candidates who were previously baptised but uncatechised to begin their preparation. The Church acknowledges that such Candidates are already part of the community by Baptism, and now surrounds them with special care and support. We celebrate the combined Rite of Acceptance into the Order of Catechumens and the Rite of Welcoming baptised but previously uncatechised adults, with Brad Plummer-Darling, Claudia Delgado, Ernest Ansah, Kamil, Leo Scott-Nicols, Levi Bonnet, Mark O’Neil, Sara Bibaj and Vincent Alarilla. Could the music stands borrowed from the music cupboard please be returned ASAP as they are required. Please note there is a book in the parish office for anything that is borrowed from the parish which must be signed out for and signed back in.
Thank you to all those who donated food and money last Sunday and who continue to offer up prayers in support of our brothers and sisters in the Middle East. The CAFOD coffee morning has raised an amazing £237.00 pounds so far for the EMERGENCY APPEAL. Thank you for your generosity. Some envelopes are still available at the back of the church for those who would like them.
Please pick up a pack from the Sacristy which contain readings from the NEW LECTIONERY.
