PARISH TEENAGE YOUTH COUCIL: Nurturing the Faith Journey of Our Young Members
My dear young friends,
As your Parish priest, I am overjoyed to have the opportunity to work alongside each and every one of you in our newly formed Parish Teenage Youth Council. This Council is not just a platform for us to come together, but a beacon of hope and positivity that will shine bright in our parish and beyond. I am truly excited to witness the wonderful ideas and initiatives that will come forth from your creative and passionate minds.
You are the heartbeat of our parish, and your voices matter. I urge you to actively engage in the Council and share your thoughts, dreams, and aspirations. How can we support and uplift one another in our spiritual growth? How can we deepen our connection with God and walk hand in hand on our faith journey?
Friendship is the cornerstone of our Our Parish Teenage Youth Council .Let us cherish and respect each other, fostering a community of love, acceptance, and support. Our prayer life is vital. How can we infuse prayer into our meetings and activities? How can we lift each other up in prayer and stand united in faith?
Let us also ponder our role within the parish family as a whole. How can we serve our community and make a lasting impact? How can you offer your assistance to the parish clergy and parish leaders in their mission? What innovative projects can we embark on to enrich the life of our parish?
In the midst of the challenges you face in school and college and also at home, know that you are not alone. What burdens your heart today? How can we be a source of strength and comfort to one another in times of trial? Have the complexities of social media or technology caused you distress? Let us come together as a united front to navigate these obstacles and provide unwavering support.
I am thrilled to introduce Blessed Carlo Acutis as a spiritual companion and mentor for each of us and for our Youth Council as a whole. His exemplary life of holiness and unwavering devotion to the Eucharist to Adoration, the Blessed Virgin, and the Lord of Divine Mercy ,serve as a guiding light for us to follow in our own daily lives.
I am filled with anticipation for the remarkable impact that our Teenage Youth Council will have on our parish and community. It's early days but Your dedication and passion are truly inspiring. May God shower His blessings upon our endeavours and illuminate our path with His divine guidance.
My dear young friends, your enthusiasm and commitment to this Council are a testament to your unwavering spirit and desire to make a difference. Let us join hands and hearts as we work together to create a brighter future for our parish and community. How can I support you in your journey? How can you inspire and uplift each other? Together, we can move mountains and spread love and light wherever we go.
God bless each and every one of you. Thank you for being a beacon of hope and positivity in our parish. Let us embark on this journey together, hand in hand, with faith as our guide and love as our compass.
With my love and blessings
Canon Michael
