Marlene was called to Eternal Life on 2nd May. Her Requiem Mass is this Monday at 10.a.m. She will be laid to rest at Croydon Cemetery. We pray for her family. She was much loved and will be sorely missed. She was one of three. Born in India, Marlene was bright and cheerful. Her skills in the world of sport bought her fame. She was outstanding at Hockey and qualified as a professional state player in her younger years. She was married for 49 years. Her husband was called to the next life back in 2012.
They were blessed to have 5 children and 14 grandchildren; a close-knit family. Prayer and spiritual support were there for all to see. Family and friends will join us online. Our parish offers its love and blessing to all members of Marlene’s family near and far.
