Thank you for your unwavering support and kindness throughout this remarkable year. Your participation in our celebrations, your dedication to our parish, and the love you show to one another genuinely embody the spirit of Christ.
I also wish to express my appreciation to our newly formed Parish Pastoral Leadership Team and our Parish Teenage Youth Council, whose efforts enrich our community and inspire our young people. A special acknowledgement goes to our outstanding parish school, where the seeds of faith and knowledge continue to flourish.
As we prepare to embark on the HOLY YEAR, beginning DECEMBER 24th, Christmas Eve, alongside Deacon Con and Father Vijaya, I invite each of you to join us in embracing the theme of “PILGRIMS OF HOPE”. This year offers us a unique opportunity to deepen our faith and strengthen our sense of community.
Throughout this Holy Year, we will strive to create memorable experiences for our parish family, fostering an environment of love, unity, and spiritual growth. Together, we will explore what it means to be pilgrims on a journey of hope, drawing closer to God and one another.
Let us open our hearts to the possibilities that lie ahead, and may this Holy Year inspire us to carry the light of hope into our lives and those around us.
Lastly, I would like to thank our dedicated Office Team, led by Theresa, Linda, and Elizabeth and supported by Deacon Con, for their tireless work in keeping our parish running smoothly. Your commitment and unwavering support are valued and much appreciated.
Many others also step forward to serve the Lord in various ways in the life of the parish and deserve our grateful thanks. Please say a prayer for their intentions.
As we celebrate the birth of our Saviour, let us remember the gift of community and the joy of sharing our faith. May this Christmas bring peace, hope, and love to each of you and your families.
I wish you all a blessed and Merry Christmas!
And a HOLY NEW YEAR
With gratitude and blessings,
Canon Michael, Fr Vijaya, and Deacon Con
