There have been some changes to the Diocese procedures in regards to Safeguarding, please be reassured they are not difficult at all, they just require some time.
  • There is mandatory training needed by all volunteers who support the church
    • The training is an online video with 10 questions at the end, it takes roughly 1 hour to complete.
  • All volunteers must sign a code of conduct

The changes initiated by the diocese are aimed at keeping all involved with the church safe and this is our top priority. To support you in this process the Safeguarding team here at St Teresa's are doing the following:
  • Click here for an instruction document which will take you step by step through the training process, please allow 1 - 1.5 hours to complete the training.
  • Leaders of parish groups have been invited to complete the training with members of the parish Safeguarding team on 22nd March, 3-5pm in the parish hall. They will then have the skill set to support members of their group
  • All volunteers are invited to complete the training with members of the parish Safeguarding team on Saturday 5th April, 2-4pm in the parish hall.
  • Click here for the "code of conduct".

Thank you for your continued efforts in supporting our parish, we could not do it without you and the 2 tasks outlined above are our way of keeping you safe while conducting the role you have committed to. Please complete your training and return your signed "Code of Conduct" by Saturday 12th April.
