Communion, Participation and Mission

Our Archbishop, on behalf of the Holy Father Pope Francis, has asked each of us to take full part in the first step of global Church Synodal Process during December and January.
We start now the Synod's Local Listening Phase, at our Parish level here at St. Teresa's. This means that the whole Church Hierarchy wants to listen to us, to me and to you!
At all Masses next week, we will ask you to respond to three questions anonymously in a questionnaire (take it home to return later if you would like to), about our Church.
Please start to think and pray about these questions now, so that you are well prepared next week to give a heartfelt response.
The questions are:

What do we do well that we should continue doing? *

What is missing that we should start doing? *

What are we doing not so well that we might pause doing? *

This Phase, listening to you and me, is part of the process of "Communion, Participation and Mission".
As individuals and families, men and women, younger and older, let us allow the Holy Spirit to come into our lives, to give us the gift of participation and discernment, and to reach out to all who, as we all do, need the body of Christ.
