Please remember in your prayers, Jim Cunningham who died recently. Harry Spaight Requiem on Monday 23rd April at 10.00am. May he rest in peace.
Congratulations to year 5 who did such a fantastic presentation of the Easter story last Tuesday evening. Gratitude to school staff for all the creative background material and support. The children were amazing and of course they will always remember the story because they dramatised it so well. On Holy Thursday, the whole school prayed the Stations of the Cross with some beautiful reflections on the journey of Jesus to Calvary. Parents have reason to rejoice. This is evangelisation at its best. We warmly welcome Maria Miao Li, Maria Tamami Tsujimvra and Andrew Yaw Ahtwi Boasiako who celebrated their Baptism at the Easter Vigil. Welcome also to Mary Ama Baiden received into full communion with the Catholic Church. Congratulations to all the above and Chris Bouchez who received the sacrament of Confirmation. Last but not least, congratulations to Roselda Drummond who received her First Communion. We keep them and all their sponsors in our prayers. To the many people who have helped to celebrate these sacred days. To all the musicians, singers, readers, lay ministers, servers, ushers, collectors, IT people, flower arrangers, church cleaners and others, we are grateful for such an effective team of people that help to make St. Teresa’s such a vibrant community.
Welcome to any visitors who are with us just for Easter. We are delighted to see you and thank you for celebrating with us throughout this festive time.
