This stunning autumnal route showcases the iconic sites of London through four Royal Parks – Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, St James’s Park and Green Park. Run past some of the capital’s most historic landmarks, including Buckingham Palace, Horse Guards Parade and the Royal Albert Hall. Although undulating in parts, the course is not hilly and is great for both experienced and first-time half marathon runners. Registration fee: £20. Fundraising goal: £300. All money raised will go towards supporting those currently experiencing or threatened by street homelessness so that we can end homelessness for good. If you are going away, we offer prayers for safe journeys and good weather (not too hot!) For those who have already gone, we wish you a safe return. We hope to see you all in a few weeks’ time – God Bless!
Do you attend the 11am Mass on a Sunday? We are looking for a couple of volunteers to oversee the teas & coffee after Mass once a month. This is a very important ministry of welcome, hospitality and community. If you think you could help, please phone the parish office and speak to Theresa 020 8648 4113.
A pilgrimage to Lourdes is unlike any other, and can bring healing to those who are troubled, and great reward to those who provide the practical, physical, and social help needed to support the care needs of the Group. We can promise an extremely rewarding time in Lourdes from 15th September – 22nd September, with our long-established, wonderfully caring HCPT Group. We are looking for adults of all ages to join our pilgrimage, as able-bodied volunteer helpers, who will be able to fill the many roles we have. We are also looking for nurses who might be able to help us during this week. We will be staying at Hosanna House, which is fully equipped to cope with the needs of the disabled. The basic cost will be £819 including full board, flights, insurance, and all specialist transport while in Lourdes. During the month of August the parish office will be closed. If you wish to contact a priest, please phone the parish office 020 8648-4113. Alternatively, leave a note in the letterbox behind the statue of Our Lady. To book a Mass, please fill in a Mass Stipend Envelope in the Narthex and post in the letterbox.
