Please come to a meeting with Fr. Philip Pak (Chaplain) on Wednesday, 30th November at 7.30pm in the parish centre. Thank you to all those who visit and bring Holy Communion to the sick.
Please remember if you or a member of your family is taken to hospital to ask the ward staff to inform the Roman Catholic Chaplain, Fr. Philip. If Fr. Philip knows you are in the hospital he will ensure you receive a visit and Holy Communion if required. You can also inform the Parish Office if this is easier for you but please inform someone who can get the message to the Chaplain. Please remember in your prayer: Mariquinha De Sa who died recently. Her Requiem Mass will be on Monday, 28th November at11.30am followed by cremation. Meta O’Donnell – She will be received into St. Teresa’s Church on Tuesday, 29th November at 4.30pm. Her Requiem Mass will be on Wednesday, 30th November at 11.30am followed by cremation. May they rest in peace.
This month is a special time to remember our loved ones who have died. Prayer for the Holy Souls is a time-honoured tradition in the church. There is a Memory Box beside the Baptismal Font in which we can place all names of those we wish to pray for during November. There are envelopes for offerings and special sheets to write the names available in the Narthex. Those placed in the Memory Box will be remembered at every Mass during this month. |
