Please would you be careful and considerate when parking your car at the weekends. Once again we have received complaints from neighbours who are blocked in. Many thanks for your cooperation.
St. Raphael’s is our local Hospice. They are currently beginning a period of transition in order to make the Hospice an independent, self-sustaining charity. This is an exciting development and will allow us to continue to provide exceptional end of life care to our patients and their loved ones. If you would like more information or a digital copy of the article, please email Lucia Heard or phone her on 020 8254 2465. Thank you for your support. The Catholic Bishops of England and Wales has designated 2020 as ‘The God Who Speaks’: A Year of the Word. This will be an opportunity to celebrate, live and share God’s word in an exciting new initiative. It is also an opportunity to enrich current practice and to develop and explore new ways of responding to ‘God who Speaks’. It begins on 1st December, the First Sunday of Advent. Ahead of the Year of the Word, the bishops would like to hear how we currently make use of Holy Scripture by taking part in an online survey: Where does the Bible fit into your daily life? The information will be anonymous and will help with the planning of events and resources. Please take part in our ‘The God who Speaks’ survey, and also pass it around to the Catholics you know. Thank you for taking part.
