The summer is near – and many people will be going on holiday. Would readers and lay ministers especially please ensure that you arrange a substitute for your ministry while you are away. The liturgy continues every day and every week – even if you are not here! If you are unable to arrange a substitute please do inform the parish office so at least we know where the gaps are likely to emerge. Thank you.
Saturday 20th October – This will be a fundraising event for the development of the Parish Centre. We also hope to welcome the new Mayor of Merton, Cllr Mary Curtin to the celebration. All communities are invited to arrange a food stall and champion their own distinctive culture in a creative way. We would like to do a Grand Draw on the night and ask if any parishioner could contribute to the top prize of £1000. Please see Fr. John. All parishioners are welcome to come to the Mitcham Annual Outdoor Mass, which will be held on the Cricket Green, Mitcham on Sunday 1st July at 3.30pm. The tradition of holding a public procession and Mass on the Cricket Green has been established for very many years and is a wonderful way for us to publicly proclaim our faith. It would be useful to bring a fold-up chair with you to use on the green. Over the years we have been very fortunate with parishioners who have remembered St. Teresa’s parish in their Will. Do please consider the parish when you make your Will. Bequests are always dedicated to the upkeep and development of the parish community. Thank you for thinking of us.
