Last Sunday our WALK OF WITNESS with the Blessed Sacrament was a tremendous success. Our 5pm Mass was packed out. It was good to see our First Holy Communion Children in their splendid outfits once again. Thank you to one and all for making the Feast of Corpus Christ so very special.
We are looking for help with the cost of re-decoration and refurbishment of its chapel – dedicated to the Sacred Heart which last received attention in the 1980s. The Seminary operates on a very tight budget and we have no funds for this work which cost in the region of £350,000. We were very grateful for your recent generosity in refurbish the Seminarians’ rooms. If you can help at all, please send a cheque payable to St. John’s Seminary. Mgr Gerald Ewing. Vice-Rector. Please come to the Presbytery on Monday 1st July at 6.30pm. for a cup of tea and informal chat where you will be provided with information.
Saturday 13th July 11.30 a.m. We are keen to offer this important ministry at Holy Mass to all young people. Recently, we have seen some outstanding Readers at various celebrations of Mass. Please attend this meeting with your parents if you are interested.
