To all those who help out in the Parish life of St Teresa’s, in all the many ministries seen and unseen. Have a blessed and safe summer, whether you are traveling or staying at home may God be with you.
Thanks to everyone who took part in St Teresa’s Primary School Summer Fayre last Sunday. The weather was beautiful and fun was had by all. We wish all the staff and pupils a safe and happy summer break as they begin to wind down for their last week of term, and thank them all for their dedication and continued efforts throughout the whole year.
In September and October this year, the relics of St Bernadette will journey on pilgrimage to England, Scotland, and Wales for the very first time. This very special once in a lifetime event will provide an opportunity for people of all ages and backgrounds to experience the special gifts and charisms of Lourdes, in a church or cathedral near them. For dates please see the following link: https://www.cbcew.org.uk/st-bernadette-relic-tour-2022/ Every year churches around the world celebrate Sea Sunday. It is a day for people to come together to pray for seafarers and fishers, and thank them for the vital role they play in all of our lives.
Congratulations to all the young adults who made their Confirmation last week. 84 Candidates received the Sacrament of Confirmation celebrated by Bishop Paul Hendricks. May the Holy Spirit remain a burning force of grace in their lives.
