If you need school forms signed (primary or secondary), please call the parish office and we can arrange a suitable time to meet. Please ensure you have the forms filled out before we meet and also bring the child’s baptism certificate with you.
Our ushers and collectors are doing a magnificent job as they arrange the collection and offertory procession each week. It would be very helpful to have a few more helpers at each Mass on Sunday. If you can help, please see Fr. John and we will then have a meeting for all involved.
Mrs. Mary Daly is retiring after 34 years of taking care of the altar servers' robes. Our sincere thanks to her for such a super job all these years at St. Teresa’s. Could we please have 4 people who could take responsibility for this very important ministry – as that would make the task easier on everyone. If you can help, please see Fr. John. Thank you. This week our local MP Siobhain McDonagh joins us to tell us about the ongoing engagement regarding the future of St. Helier Hospital and what you can do to help ensure the hospital retains all acute services including major A&E and consultant led maternity units. Visit www.siobhainmcdonagh.org.uk for more information. Tuesday, 3rd October 7.30 – 9.30pm at Sacred Heart, Wimbledon with Rob Mobile and Pat Ryan. (Confirmation catechists especially).
Saturday, 7th October 10am to 12.30 at St. John Fisher, Merton with David Payne. This is an opportunity for all catechists to share best practice. |
