At this time of the year we often see family, friends and neighbours who join us for our Christmas and New Year liturgy. We thank God that they are able to join us and to seek Heaven's Blessings alongside us.
In our midst we will also bee seeking to offer a very warm welcome back to those who have drifted away from the practice of their faith. May our love and prayerful support help them to come back and meet the Lord in the Breaking of Bread. Also we know that being part of a worldwide family opens the door to Reconciliation between man and God.
The Church is not just a building, but a living community and family. Through baptism we become cherished sons and daughters of God. None of us are perfect, but we do try to do our best to love one another and put into practice the way Our Lord Jesus taught us to live.
We wish all who are going away over this Christmas season, meeting up with family and friends, that they will have a safe journey.
