This Saturday, 25th July, sees us celebrate Archbishop John’s first year as our new Archbishop. His first year has been difficult and challenging. He has shown outstanding leadership and spiritual wisdom. Please keep him and our Diocese in your prayers.

O God, eternal shepherd of the faithful, who tends your Church in countless ways and rules over her in love,
grant we pray,
that your servant Archbishop John Wilson
whom you have set over your people, may preside in the place of Christ
over the flock whose shepherd he is, and be faithful as a teacher of doctrine; a priest of sacred worship
and as one who serves them by governing.
We ask Your blessing for him, his Priests, his Deacons
and all who live out their faith in our parishes, schools and hospitals. Through our Lord Jesus Christ,
who lives and reigns with the Father, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, ONE GOD, for ever and ever,
