We welcome Jaden Asamoa, Isabelle Eden and Sienna Amber Cleobury, Nikiisha Colin, Chufwuemeka Joshua Edmund and Nana Adwoa Odamea-Opoku Okai. Congratulation to their parents, godparents, families and friends.
The National Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Our Lady of Fatima, which was blessed by Pope Paul V1 at Fatima in May 1967, and given to England by the Bishop of Fatima in 1968. It was also blessed by Pope John Paul 11 during his visit to Britain in 1982. The statue, accompanied by relics of Blessed Jacinta and Francisco will be at St. Teresa’s, Morden over the weekend of 17/18 September for veneration.
Fr. Brian Coyle is being inducted as Rector of St. John’s Seminary at Wonersh in Guildford on Thursday, 8th September. Do please keep Fr. Brian in your prayers as he begins a new important ministry. This will also be the 125th anniversary of the founding of St. John’s and Fr. Brian is the 18th Rector. We remember too all the students and staff who are at St. John’s and we assure them of our prayers.
At St. George’s Cathedral on Saturday, 24th September, 11.00am arrival and registration, ending with Mass at 4.00pm with the Archbishop.
