We plan to have a special parish thank-you supper for all volunteers on Saturday, 8th October in St. Teresa’s School Hall. We will need some indication of numbers attending so please sign the list in the Narthex. This applies to readers, church cleaners, musicians, special ministers, catechists, counters, collectors, flower arrangers, choir, singers, welcomers, repository people, PPC, finance, CHEQ etc. It’s a big network so it would be good to get the whole group together for a party. This is being organised by the PPC and if anyone else wants to help please contact Fr John or a member of the PPC.
Congratulations to Roberta Rudyte and Linus Sartauskas who celebrated their wedding this weekend at St Teresa’s. We wish them every blessing.
St Teresa’s Church – Celebrates its St Teresa’s Church – Celebrates its 80th birthday in 2017. Are there ideas for a way to celebrate the event? Take a pilgrimage to the Holy Land or Rome? Who wants to organise a party? How can we celebrate the huge diversity in our community? How can we grow in our understanding as a Christian Community? Will we succeed in continuing our Hall Extension project and build an interesting kitchen for the Parish Centre? Ideas please to the PPC at the Contact Corner or to Fr. John. in 2017.
