Our two Sunday Masses are usually full so we are hoping that this Mass might help with seating and social distancing which we are strictly enforcing. As you may notice, we have moved the vigil back an hour. We have had some requests to do this. With winter setting in we hope this time will suit most people. Restrictions permitting, it is our intention to open for this Mass each Saturday until the end of the year. Our church doors will open at 5p.m.
Please Note: From next Saturday 31st October we will resume public Mass at 5.30p.m.

John was a son of County Cork; one of four children. His call to be a priest bought him to Southwark. He served the Lord in many parishes and that time began back in 1964. He was a faithful servant of every parish he was called to serve in. Fr. John was seen by his brother priests as a hard-working priest; faithful to his ministry every day of his life. Fr. John has been laid to rest in St. Colman’s Cemetery, Macroon, Co. Cork. He was in the 56th year of his priesthood. We send our blessing to his grave and final resting place.
May Fr. John Rest in Peace and Rise in Glory. Penelope Brummel R.I.P.
Please keep in your prayers the soul of Penny as she journeys into God’s kingdom. Her life and her witness to the Catholic faith were exemplary. Penny’s funeral arrangements are being organised by her first cousin Myrtle. May Penny Rest in Peace and Rise in Glory. Maureen Deb R.I.P. I only got to know Maureen recently. My visits to her family home bought her spiritual comfort and inner peace. Maureen was married to Susanta for 50 years, blessed two sons, Paul and Robin. Last weekend would have seen her celebrate her 74th Birthday. Life began in Ireland. Maureen was a member of a loving and large family. Her baptism took place in Co. Clare. She was bright, witty, kind and caring. A lady blessed with a loving husband and very proud of her two sons and her grandchildren. Maureen’s passport to Heaven was stamped with the Last Rites and the Lord of Divine Mercy’s blessing. Her funeral will take place on Tuesday 3rd November at 9.30a.m. May Maureen Rest in Peace and Rise in Glory. Dear St.Joseph, at home in Heaven with Our Lord Jesus and Our Blessed Lady, please intercede for the souls in Purgatory. I commend to you anyone from my family, circle of friends and especially to turn your gaze on the most forgotten souls in Purgatory. May these holy souls soon see the face of God and rest eternally in the peace of the Kingdom of Heaven. Amen. Each day during the month of November we shall offer a Holy Mass for those whose names you hand in. A box has been provided at the front of the Sanctuary. You can put on your list as many names as you wish. By the end of November we will have celebrated 31 Masses for those Holy Souls. An offering would be appreciated. Throughout the year we will do our best to also offer Holy Mass, for the November Deceased List, at regular intervals. |
