I hope this message finds you well and filled with peace. I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for your support and encouragement throughout these challenging times. The impact of the Covid pandemic has been felt by all but together, we have managed to navigate through it with strength and resilience.
I would like to extend a sincere word of thanks to all who have served the Lord and our parish in various capacities. Your dedication and commitment have been instrumental in keeping our parish community strong. In particular I would like to thank and acknowledge the Parish Council for their relentless efforts over these past several years
As we look to the future, it is essential that we form a new Leadership Team to support Archbishop John’s vision for the diocese. We have already taken the first steps by appointing gifted Parish Leads in the field of Evangelisation and securing an excellent and well qualified Deanery Mentor. This initiative has been deemed a priority by every parish and I kindly request your support for their important mission.
I urge you to pray for our parish, that we may work together, supporting one another, our Merton Deanery and the Archbishop’s unfolding Vision for the diocese. Rebuilding our parishes is a necessary action that requires the involvement and input of each member. I encourage you to share your views and ideas and suggest individuals who possess the gifts and skills to drive our parish forward.
Let us seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit and our friend in Heaven, Saint Teresa, who devoted her life to the Lord’s service.
