Dennis moved into The Grove (care home) in May 1999. He was very sociable person. He loved chatting with people, make jokes, teasing them, etc. Dennis knew what is happening in the world. He listened to his radio every day and watched news in TV. Everyone who was in the service received updates on daily basis from him. He would not missed any news or any person. Dennis loved going to library to borrow books with different places/countries, he loved traveling, especially by public transport. He loved emergency services Police, Ambulance, Fire brigade. Whenever he saw the cars he was very excited and talked about it to everyone. He knew what is broken in the house and he asked for replacement. He could buy new item today but tomorrow that item was already old and he asked for new one. He could spend money.
Every day Dennis talked about his parents being in heaven, he was saying ”My mum is in heaven, my dad is in heaven and my dog Tim is in heaven” When he wasn’t happy with someone he always said “I will tell my mum” or “My mum will sort you out”
Dennis lived at The Grove for over 22 years but now he is with his parents in heaven and probably he already report you all to his mum :)
All friends from The Grove and staff members saying last Good Bye to you Dennis, we all miss you and we will not forget you.
May Dennis Rest In Peace and Rise In Glory.
