Over the past year, particularly with the cancellation of our annual Day for Catechists at St George’s, we have been unable to meet with catechists in person.
In its place, we would like to invite catechists to represent your parish at a Diocesan Catechist Meeting, to be held on Zoom on Thursday 8th July, from 7:30pm-9:30pm. This will give catechists the opportunity to meet others, including members of the new Agency for Evangelisation and Catechesis, and find out how we can work together to create a missionary diocese. There will also be an opportunity to support fellow catechists through sharing their experiences during this time of pandemic.
If members of the parish catechetical team would like to sign on, they would all be most welcome. To help us manage breakout rooms during the meeting, catechists will need to register individually before the meeting. The registration page is available at aec.rcaos.org.uk/catechesis-events and you will receive the zoom link once registered.
