PARISH TEENAGE YOUTH COUCIL:  Nurturing the Faith Journey of Our Young Members

Introduction:

With the Archbishop John’s Blessing at our 11am Mass We Welcome the establishment of our Parish Youth Council, a vibrant initiative aimed at empowering and engaging the teenagers within our parish community. We are excited to embark on this journey of faith together, supporting and guiding our youth as they grow in their spiritual development.

What We Hope to Achieve:

- Fostering a sense of belonging and community among young parish members
- Providing a platform for teenagers to actively participate in parish life and decision-making processes
- Offering opportunities for spiritual growth, reflection, and personal development
- Creating a safe and supportive space for young individuals to express their ideas, concerns, and aspirations
- Encouraging leadership skills and a sense of responsibility among our youth
- Cultivating a deeper understanding and appreciation of the Catholic faith through meaningful discussions and activities

Supporting Their Journey of Faith:

As members of the Parish Youth Council, our primary goal is to support and nurture the faith journey of our young members. We aim to provide them with the necessary resources, guidance, and encouragement to deepen their relationship with God and live out their faith in their daily lives. Through prayer, service projects, educational opportunities, and fellowship events, we seek to empower our youth to become active and dedicated participants in the life of the parish and ambassadors of Christ's love in the world.
Together, let us embark on this exciting adventure of faith formation, growth, and community building as we strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where our youth can flourish and thrive in their spiritual journey.
Please pray for our young teenage parishioners and for The PTYC.
