Danny Thompson R.I.P. - Requiem Mass 12.00 p.m. Wednesday 11th November
This Wednesday we celebrate Holy Mass, thanking God for Danny and his journey of faith. We thank God for the day he was born and the family he was born into. He left life on earth with the blessings of the Church and the prayerful support of family and friends.
We welcome back to the parish Canon Brian Coyle, who will preside at Danny’s funeral. We offer the sympathy of the parish to his wife Eileen, and to their three wonderful and supportive daughters Sharon, Alison and Emma.
Danny has been very much in our prayers.
May He Rest in Peace and Rise in Glory.
William Hyman R.I.P.
We offer our sincere condolences to the Hyman family. Fleur died in July and her funeral took place at St. Teresa’s in late August.
We commend her soul to God and thank God for her life on earth.
Now, in these past days, her Grandad has, in his 88th year, been called to Eternal Life. He joins his wife Nora, who left for Paradise two years ago. William left to join her, blessed with the Last Rites and the prayers of his family.
They leave behind seven children; Billy, Philip, Michael, Paul, Patricia, Kay and Tracy.
William began life in Ireland; Tipperary and Limerick witnessed the growth of his family. His Mum and Dad thanked God for 13 children. He loved his family and was proud of his Irish roots.
We also keep in prayer his surviving brothers and sisters and all who will miss him.
In his younger days William won trophies for golf, bowls and darts. The world of work saw him on building sites; erecting cranes and turning his hand to other site projects.
William’s Funeral and Requiem Mass will take place on Friday 20th of November, at 12.00 and he will be laid to rest at Garth Road Cemetery.
May He Rest in Peace and Rise in Glory.
Mrs Sheila Richardson – R.I.P.
We continue to remember in our prayers the soul of Sheila Richardson. Many of you will remember Sheila as a nursery teacher at St. Teresa’s School. She was a member of St. Teresa’s choir, and subsequent choir mistress, for forty years. We hold in prayer her daughter Angela, son Barry and their families.
Sheila’s funeral and cremation will take place in Knebworth where she moved to be close to her daughter. Sheila’s ashes will be interred with her husband John’s at Garth Road in the New Year.
May Sheila Rest in Peace and Rise in Glory.
Penelope Brummel - R.I.P.
Thank you for keeping in your prayers the soul of Penny, as she journeys into the Father’s Kingdom.
Her witness to the Gospel and her Catholic faith were outstanding. She was an active member of the Carmelite Order, a faithful member of the Legion of Mary and a valued, and much respected, member of our parish family for many years.
We thank her first cousin Myrtle for arranging Penny’s funeral.
We have heard from the Undertakers that Penny’s funeral will be sometime after the 18th November. We will let you know when the date has been finalised.
May she Rest in Peace and Rise in Glory.
Jonathan Elias R.I.P.
Our blessing and condolences reach out to the Elias family. Jonathan served in the Armed Forces with distinction for 13 years, and then moved into other ways of supporting his wife Carol and there four daughters Natalie, Ashley, Marcia and Azaria.
Jonathan loved gardening and was a keen football fan; Chelsea was his favourite team – Carol’s is Liverpool and the girls support Arsenal.
41 years of married life; the blessings of children and grandchildren. The blessing of a good life well lived. A man of a kind and gentle disposition. He leaves for Eternal Life with our support for Carol and all branches of the family.
Jonathon’s funeral takes place at North East Surrey Crematorium on Friday 13th November at 10:45 a.m.
May He Rest in Peace and Rise in Glory.
