My Lord, thank you for your patience and understanding. Life can be difficult and challenging. I wish to give the New Year to you. You know me, you know my needs.
So, my Lord Jesus, again I place my trust in you as you guide me safely through life.
In my experience of emptiness, insecurity, and fear, I turn to you in your everlasting love and friendship for me and for every person.
As I ask myself where am I to go and what can I do, I come to you because you have promised to be with me always.
Jesus, I trust in your never-failing mercy and love. I know how much you love me.
You healed the sick, the deaf, the lame and the blind.
In my faith in you, I ask for healing and strength.
In my faith in you, I hear your words, ‘Don’t be afraid’ (Luke 8:50) Jesus, strengthen my faith.
