We send our condolences to the family and friends of Lena McBride who died recently.
Lena has been a parishioner since 1986. Born in Draperstown Co. Derry Northern Ireland she moved to London when she married Joseph in 1954. They went on to have two daughters Sharron and Shirley. Lena was a devout Catholic and although bed ridden for the past three years, she prayed daily with the Rosary always in her hands. Joseph, who died in 1974, had waited 47 years when Lena joined him in eternal rest on Saturday 12th June 2021 aged 92. Her funeral will take place on Tuesday 13th July 2021.
