My Poem

A reflection on Our New Pastoral Plan. Hope you enjoy it.
 
In the heart of St. Teresa Parish, a vision takes flight,
A pastoral plan, in unity with the diocese's might.
Formation, catechesis, and evangelisation's call,
We stand together, embracing the faith for one and all.
 
With gratitude, we look back to the generations before,
Who fought the good fight, teaching the faith we adore.
To the Catechists of our time, we extend our heartfelt thanks,
For guiding us on this journey, walking in their ranks.
 
Formation, the cornerstone of our parish's mission,
Nurturing souls, fostering growth with divine precision.
Through education and spiritual nourishment, we strive,
To deepen our understanding, as we seek to thrive.
 
Catechesis, the foundation of our Catholic identity,
Instilling the teachings, with love and humility.
From the youngest to the oldest, we all have a place,
To learn and grow, in God's abundant grace.
 
Evangelisation, the flame that ignites our souls,
Spreading the Good News, making broken hearts whole.
With fervour and zeal, we share the love of Christ,
Inviting others to join us, in this sacred tryst.
 
St. Teresa Parish, a beacon of faith and light,
Guided by the Holy Spirit, shining ever so bright.
United with the diocese, we march hand in hand,
Building God's kingdom, across this blessed land.
 
So let us embrace this vision, with hearts full of zeal,
For in unity and love, our faith will surely heal.
