"God knows me and calls me by my name.…
God has created me to do Him some definite service;
He has committed some work to me which He has not committed to another."
Our Sisters and Brothers at the Archdiocese of Southwark led by our Archbishop John Wilson continue to encourage us through these words. Three Parish leads have been commissioned by Cn. Michael to assist the Diocese in this calling to do our Lord some definite service they are Marion Akuamoah, Godfred Frimpong and Stuart Thomas who gave a short update at all Masses last weekend to encourage you to support, help and participate. They will share with our Deanery and Diocese colleagues all the wonderful things this parish does on Catechesis, Evangelisation and Formation, and then learn from other parishes about the excellent work they do, to create an ongoing plan for our joint Communion, Participation and Mission.
Many of the parish leads in the Deanery will attend a short course, called Discovery, which is promoted by the Diocese. St.Teresa’s will run this course during Lent on Fridays over six weeks starting 24th Feb. Anyone who is involved in catechesis, and who is interested in attending this course should let the Parish Office know (quickly as it is only one week away and numbers are strictly limited). Please continue to watch this space for further steps towards Some Definite Service.
