Late August saw two long-serving priests called to Eternal Life.

Canon John was a retired priest of the Archdiocese and served faithfully in pastoral ministry, making significant contributions to education and catechesis. - Fr. Charles Briggs (Parish Priest of Chislehurst)
Following a recent diagnosis with a very aggressive cancer, Fr. Charles faced his illness bravely with humility and generosity of spirit. He received excellent support from Archbishop John, Bishop Kevin, Bishop Pat and his priest friends.
We keep in prayer these two excellent priests, their family, their friends and the people of the parishes they served so well.
