When travel to the Holy Land became difficult, churches began including fourteen stations on their walls where the faithful could make the “Stations of the Cross”. This spiritually is intended to help Christ’s followers join their own sufferings to His.
Our Stations here at Saint Teresa’s were donated by the Gillman family in memory of their daughter Margaret Gillman who was called to Eternal Life at a young age.
As you pray the Stations in this holy season of Lent please remember to say a prayer for Margaret and the Gillman family.
As a parish we offer you a chance to pray with others or you will find a choice of booklets to pray by yourself or with family and friends, in the Narthex.
May the Lord bless your Lenten season and especially your Way of the Cross.
